Our Services:
- We
build our courses, with you, to suit your time, requirements
and budget. We use studios, if the budget allows, to add to
the authenticity of the experience. Here are a few examples:
The
Crisis Session:
aimed at building the confidence to deal with press and
media questions arising from a crisis (accident, customer
injury, staff dispute). This looks at message building,
language, delivery, and equips participants to take control
of an interview, deal with very tough questions, and avoid
pitfalls such as appearing uncaring and insensitive. We
offer this on a one-to-one basis or up to 3 clients per
trainer.
Getting
inside the journalists' minds:
A half day training, in the company boardroom for PR people
on the way journalists work, how they pick their stories,
how their day pans out, what they're looking for from PRs
and interviewees.
Our
Complete Guide to Dealing with the Press and Media.
Two Day course in studio. In advance of this course each
participant has a telephone interview with a journalist who
then writes up the interview for a press publication. Over
the two days we cover what journalists are looking for and
how they work. We work out who you need to reach and how
best to do that. We examine what to say, how to say it and
what not to say in a press or media interview. This is a
very interactive course with plenty of opportunity to put
the theory into practice.
The 10
minute Presentation:
identifying and delivering the key messages; tailoring the
language to the audience; getting in the examples and
evidence with colour; ironing out the verbal ticks and
fitting it all into the prescribed time.
We can
also provide training on chairing meetings and writing
reports
